By Air

Loganair operates flights from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness & Kirkwall which can connect with national and international schedules.

Also from May to August there are twice weekly flights between Bergen and Shetland.

By Sea

Northlink operates an overnight ferry service from Aberdeen to Lerwick, Shetland daily. Journeys take 12 hours (or 14 hours when calling at Orkney en route). Recliner seats, sleeping pods or comfortable 2 & 4 berth cabins are available.
