By Air

Flybe franchise partner, Loganair, operates daily direct flights from Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Inverness which can connect with national & international schedules.  Also, from end of May until end of August 2010 there will be a twice weekly flight between Bergen and Shetland.

By Sea

Northlink operates an overnight ferry service from Aberdeen to Lerwick, Shetland daily. Journeys take 12 hours (or 14 hours when calling at Orkney en route). Recliner seats or comfortable cabins are available.
