By Air

During the Summer period there is a direct flight from Stansted, London to Sumburgh, Shetland with Atlantic Airways….just think…”subway to Sumburgh in less than 2 hours”! By Sea

Northlink operates an overnight ferry service from Aberdeen to Lerwick, Shetland daily. Journeys take 12 hours (or 14 hours when calling at Orkney en route). Recliner seats or comfortable cabins are available.
