This Lerwick self-catering cottage is a modern single-storey house situated in a quiet area of Lerwick very near to the beautiful Sands of Sound Beach and the Clickimin Loch and is the perfect choice for those seeking town and country on the doorstep.
This self-catering property in Lerwick has been furnished and decorated to a very high standard which will appeal to both tourists and business visitors alike.
We have made optimum use of space by designing an open-plan living & kitchen area which has been furnished to the highest standard for the discerning visitor.
The living room is furnished with a comfortable armchair and sofa, flatscreen LED TV with Freeview channels; DVD player and Hifi system. Heating is provided through storage heaters as well as an electric fire and fire surround in the centre of the living room. We also provide a selection of interesting books, games, maps and DVDs.

A carefully planned kitchen with beautiful buttermilk units and wooden worktops comes complete with fully integrated dishwasher; washing machine; fridge; oven and microwave - a joy in which to self-cater!
There is a double bedroom with quality pine bed, wardrobe, dressing-table & mirror, and electric storage heater.
The modern bathroom has a curved bath with overhead mains power shower, wetwalls, tiled underfloor heating and heated towel rail.
All bedlinen, towels, hairdryer, iron and ironing board are supplied.
Outdoors there is a small front and rear garden, clothes-line, paved patio area and a shed for storage of bikes, outdoor equipment and such like.
There is ample off-road parking to the rear of the house.
Open throughout the year for short or longer term lets (serviced lets available by arrangement).
Weekly prices range from £350 per week (low season) to £600 per week (peak season) with nightly rates from £60 - £90 per night (minimum 4 night stay).
If you want to explore as much of Shetland as possible but also want to be close to the amenities of a vibrant town then Rudda Court provides the perfect mix of town and country.
The house is located in an area of Lerwick close to the beautiful Sands of Sound beach and the ancient Clickimin Broch. Also within the immediate vicinity can be found an excellent fishmonger, a grocery store, newsagent, a supermarket, and the Clickimin Leisure complex which has an excellent swimming pool, squash courts, indoor bowling , and state-of-the-art gymnasium.
A pleasant coastal stroll will take you from the accommodation into the very centre of Lerwick with all the amenities and visitor attractions you would expect from such a vibrant Capital.

From Lerwick Ferry Terminal turn left onto the main road and take the second exit at the next 2 roundabouts heading for the main A970 to Sumburgh. At the small roundabout near the newly built Anderson High School, take the 1st exit and continue onto the larger roundabout near Tescos where you take the 3rd exit still heading South to Sumburgh, then take the 1st exit at the small roundabout into Oversund Road. Turn first left after the fish shop (opposite the Sound School main entrance) and then immediately right into Rudda Court. No 1 Rudda Court is the first house on the right with a red front door and red windows.
From Sumburgh Airport follow the main A970 to Lerwick. As you descend into Lerwick take the first main turning on your right (not Upper Sound) which is clearly marked with a large white signpost stating a number of streets, eg. Ackrigarth, Oversund Road, etc. At the small white roundabout take the first exit and follow the road past the Sound Gospel Hall. Take the first right opposite the school entrance just before the red bus-stop then first right again into Rudda Court. No 1 is the first house on the right with a red front door and red windows.
We are happy to meet you at the property at 3pm, or alternative arrangements for key collection can be made in advance of arrival.

Bookings can be made for as little as 4 nights during the winter months and for a minimum of one week during the summer months.
Terms & Conditions of Hire
Stays in Rudda must be for a minimum of 4 nights during the low season and a minimum of 7 nights during the spring and summer months with changeover day every Friday.
The property sleeps up to 2 people.
Sorry but no pets are allowed and no smoking on the premises.
A 50% non-refundable deposit will be payable immediately upon booking with the remaining balance due 8-12 weeks prior to arrival. We strongly recommend that you take out holiday/travel insurance to cover any unexpected late cancellation.
